Winner of NEO Innovation Award 2021 New Materials for Metal AM

🏆 NEO Innovation Award 2021 for new MetalAM materials 🏆 Successful and promising company transformation with an innovative business model led to the award win MaterialsMonday

Rosswag Engineering was awarded with the NEO Innovation Award endowed with € 20,000 by TechnologieRegion Karlsruhe GmbH for the innovative and world's fastest qualification process for new MetalAM materials. With that approach, Rosswag transformed the knowledge from the 110 years old forging business Edelstahl Rosswag into an unique framework for the rapid development and testing of new materials for functional optimized MetalAM parts. Since 2014, more than 40 materials have been atomized into metal powder and qualified for the LPBF process via the holistic and in-house process chain at Rosswag.

"When we started metal 3D printing in 2014, only a handful of materials were qualified for the process. Our approach is to provide an efficient and cost-effective way to lay the groundwork for an accelerated industrialization of metal additive manufacturing by enabling more applications across all industries." states Gregor Graf, Head of Engineering at Rosswag.
