OptiAdd R&D meeting to develop the next generation of optimized laser exposure strategies for #MetalAM 🚀

🤝 Yesterday we welcomed the project partners of the R&D project OptiAdd in Pfinztal.

💡 OptiAdd: Optimized process control with innovative laser exposure strategies

Normal stripe exposure quickly reaches its limits - especially when it comes to materials that tend to have high residual stresses. In the research project OptiAdd we are developing together with MPA Stuttgart, EvoBeam and Evedis new innovative exposure strategies and thermal process monitoring solutions to reduce residual stresses, overheating and other effects.
