Another sneak peek of results out of a master thesis conducted by Kaiwen Zhang coming up. By local adjustment of parameters the microstructure and its grain orientation can be modified to a desired alignment. Similar to probation in reinforced concrete you'll receive improved strength or ductility where it's needed.

All the tests were done on an AL3D 200 from Alpha Laser
