With our last campaign of fatigue tests with the Q&T Steel 42CrMo4 (AISI 4140 / 1.7225) the finite life section of the S-N- curve was qualified according to the norm DIN 50142.

The results of the statistical verification does not show any environmental influences such as machine operators, sample position on the build plate or wear mechanism of the equipment after several 10 millions of load cycles.
